Welcome from the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter President

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated

On behalf of the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter (NoVAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, it is my privilege to extend a warm welcome and share the impactful initiatives taking place within our community.  Anchored in foundational principles, our chapter is committed to advancing positive change through dedicated service and support.

For over 65 years, we have served Arlington County, and the Cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church with distinction.  Through strategic partnerships and fundraising efforts, we are able to provide scholarships to high school seniors entering their freshman year, sustain our award-winning chapter programs, and collaborate with partner organizations to support those in need.

As President of this esteemed chapter, I invite you to engage with our work—whether by volunteering, contributing through our fiscal agent, or participating in our events. Our programs reflect Delta Sigma Theta’s 5-Point Programmatic Thrust: Educational Development, Economic Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Political Awareness & Involvement, and Physical & Mental Health. We also adhere to our National Strategic Plan and South Atlantic Regional initiatives, ensuring our service has lasting impact for future generations.

This year, we are pleased to announce expanded opportunities for civic engagement. To stay informed about our ongoing efforts, please follow us on social media or visit this page for updates on our chapter’s activities. We welcome your involvement and look forward to building a stronger chapter together.

“To whom much is given, much is required.”  Together, let us continue this vital work.

Warm regards,

Cynthia
