NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS CHAPTER PRESIDENT:

 In 1974, the chapter initiated four new members. 

NEW PROGRAMS OR INITIATIVES IMPLEMENTED:

 NoVAC sponsored a Community Action Forum. This meeting was the first of a planned series of programs focusing on social concerns of the community, particularly those issues which required revisions in laws and regulations. 

The chapter also worked with the Northern Virginia Comprehensive Planning Corporation and the Department of Agriculture to provide food for students who received free school lunches during the school year at this special summer nutritional program.

PRESIDENTIAL NUGGET TO IMPART ON NOVAC:

 A lady of style—her outfit was usually accessorized with just the perfect hat. She was a good, compassionate, and understanding leader. She was very diplomatic, and no one ever saw her angry or perturbed.
