towards obtaining their goals. The Program is for adolescent
girls 14 -18.
EMBODI (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for Developing Independence) - is
the signature program of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s current National
President, Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre. EMBODI is designed to refocus Delta's
efforts to collaborate with other established organizations and agencies to
address the plight of African American males, providing a continuum of services
to address the specific needs of African-American males through dialogue,
recommended strategies, programs and activities.
SOL (Strengthening Our Leaders) - Provides educational
enriching opportunities for youth ages 6-14 with existing
SOL (Standards of Learning) programs. This includes tutorial
support and assistance for SOL preparation, test-taking skills,
math, science, reading, language arts, and computer skills.
