11/30/2007 - Northern Virginia Delta Education Community Service (NVDECS) Foundation Receives Grant From Target for Reading is Fundamental (RIF) National Book Program.

These are some exciting times and some very challenging times.

As the Northern Virginia Delta Education and Community Service (NVDECS) Foundation enters into this new century--and the new millennium, we renew and reaffirm our commitment to provide financial support for our community service programs and scholarships for individuals throughout the Northern Virginia area.

In the past, NVDECS has successfully provided financial support for several projects sponsored by the Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as well as local and national charitable organizations. The Foundation will continue to do so with a deeper commitment and focus to expand its services and to increase the involvement and participation of the community.
