The Northern Virginia Delta Education and Community Services Foundation (NVDECS) is a public, not-for-profit organization that operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. NVDECS is an entirely separate organization. As a not-for-profit organization, NVDECS Foundation serves as a funding vehicle for scholarship and community service initiatives in association with NoVAC. Although the two organizations work closely together, NoVAC has the ultimate responsibility for directing the Chapter programmatic thrusts.

NVDECS Foundation’s Board of Directors is composed of NoVAC members and community members elected by the members of NoVAC, in accordance with the bylaws of the NVDECS Foundation. Additionally, NoVAC’s 1st Vice President serves as an ex-officio member of the NVDECS Board and is the liaison between the organizations.
